As an equality officer at the university I would like to introduce provisions and measures which will support women and young parents in our institution. What I intent to do is to do an in-depth research on available solutions for parents and those who return to work after parental leave. I would also like to learn more from young parents eg. what are their expectations and what is missing in the policy of our university with regard to reconciliation of work and family life. Introducing new facilities such as childcare institutions supported by incentives for those returning from parental leaves will also be a crucial part of an organizational change. Gathering up all crucial information and available options in one easily accessible place will help everyone who is interested in WLB issues.
